Good Moves And Timing

Yesterday was one of those days when I moved around a lot. My walks ending up with pretty good timing when I arrived at a new spot. It was another day that warmed up quickly. Being a Sunday there were lots of fisherman out having some success or at least when I watched they were making a catch.

Still very little eagle action along the river. Warm sunny days with little flow generation at the dam the reason I think. The bucks are still chasing does in heat in the mornings. You have to be careful driving early. It has been a nice stretch of days with good light for photography. Much appreciated at this time of year when the days are so short….

Grampy, The eagle pairs are particularly interesting; amazing how they stay together even when they perch.
The ducks are great. Today’s pix with the “grass sticks” in them make me think of an artist with Egyptian Hieroglyphics incliniations.
Your pix of the Peregrine Falcon (think I’ve got that right) are great!
All in all, what beautiful birds! MCS

      Mary S,
They do hang out together some but most of the time they are apart hunting different areas. The grass stickups are interesting now that you mention it. Yes, the peregrines have neat body pattern almost like pajamas or something. Thank You for the compliments on natures beauty…

  2. Great shot of the buck, and the eagles too.
You have good luck with kingfishers!
