  1. That mink is a good hunter.
    Great shots of the snake!

      New Hampshire Gardener,
It is surprising how fast they can go and catch a crayfish and return. Back out and catch another and return when feeding young. Thank You…

JIM!!! I hope you get your passion back. I too get tired of the same locations and the same things….however I have not had the same good luck you have had at the slough lately. Can’t seem to catch a break on the critters. In the past I always felt the slough offered something new every day, everyday was a new day in the slough. …..but not for me, for a while. Maybe try something new, perhaps shooting in B & W? Or Macro is great fun! Hate to not see your pix…and would miss running into you out and about. Thank you for sharing your vast knowledge with me and so many others. You have made me a better photographer…and I know I still have a long way to go!

      Lynn Bartlett,
I still have passion for it, feel like I was not improving. I enjoy the same locations, feel one gets to learn more that way. It has always been the learning and wonders that I see that kept me going. The taking picture allowed me to see what the naked eye missed. Many times you can leave a spot and come back in an hour and things are happening or vice-versa. I am out and about still a couple hours each morning. Have not been out later in the day. Your Welcome. I am always happy to help anyone or attempt to asist them in figuring out something If I feel I understand what they are trying to achieve. Thanks for leaving me a note…
