Storm Stoppage And Frustration

We had a storm Monday night that took out our internet and damaged my old laptop.  We have DSL. It took AT&T until Thursday afternoon to get a technician here and make repairs. We use DSL as it is what we can afford. It is very reliable as a whole but extremely slow. One reason I have to make the images so small so they will load in a reasonable amount of time.

It is frustrating when there is nothing I can do to fix things. My normal patience runs out. So I still have to acquire another laptop. The old one was around eleven years old and like any often used tool seemed to fit my hand like the right weight hammer or a chainsaw that starts on the first pull.

Using my wife’s laptop today and it took a bit of time to get it linked up to be able to post. I have a backlog of pics to go through as well. We are heading out to visit the kids and grandkids will not return until Tuesday. Will try to get through the old pics and make a few posts while gone, should time allow. It was a good week other than the trial of being unable to work on the blog. Lots of migrating birds coming through. It is a joy to sit in the yard and share my limited bird knowledge with my ” Little Woman”. To share in the incredible variety of feather colors and combinations. Spring such a beautiful time. A couple new goat kids another or two expecting to arrive. The chickens with freshly hatched chicks to attend. The rain keeping us from starting the garden also a bit frustrating it is just to wet to till. So bare with me and I apologize for disappearing for days with no warning but nothing I could do about it. Hope you have a great weekend with a bit of sunshine…

That’s too bad. I’ve changed laptops three times in ten years and it’s always a pain, but it’s doable.
You’ve certainly been getting some great shots of the small birds. They’re beautiful and so colorful!
    Have fun with the kids!

      New Hampshire Gardener,
The old HP pavillion notebook was a good one. Lasted longer than any computer we have had. Thank You and it is a pleasure to have all the migrators delight us for a while sitting in the yard. Will have fun with the kids…
