Only you could make an ugly vulture look good. The photo of the one in flight looks ‘metallic’. Lighting was odd and beautiful.

The vultures can look good at times. A few years back I found a flock bathing in the shallows of Barkley Lake in the fall. The colors that day were superb. It was a good filtered light this day. I probably should photograph them more often. They are so funny running on the ground. The still pics don’t quite capture that. They sort of run, hop with wings up…
