Rained Out This Morning The Effects Of Global Warming?

A few pics from yesterday morning. Rained out this morning. All this rain and violent storms the effect of climate change? I do believe so. Strong wind from thunderstorms tearing apart another large dock and damaging boats at another large marina. This time at Moors resort. Was busy for a while yesterday assisting my “Little Woman and youngest daughter attempting to capture bees in a large cherry tree broken apart in the last storm. The tree on a neighbors cattle pasture. They need to cut up the tree and haul it off as they said the wilting cherry leaves are poisonous to their cattle. The bees up too high to get too were we believe the queen is located. A large portion of bees on a part of the limb that broke off at what looked like the hive entrance on the ground. That branch havingĀ  comb with larva, emerging bees, and brood. We tied off a swarm box on top of a ladder below the spot high above we think the queen is in. Hopefully they will think the swarm box is a better location and the queen and bees will move there. Always interesting in the country side or on a farm. Ya never know what you might get in to next…

  1. We’re seeing strange weather here too, including stormy weather that moves in and never leaves. We just got through two months of rain / drizzle almost every day. If it isn’t climate change then I don’t know what else it would be. But there are still the rich oilmen who’ll tell you it’s all fake news.
I wonder if that heron got that fish down!

      New Hampshire Gardener,
Still rain, rain almost every day here
The effect of all the autos and industrial plants as well. Deforestation, highways and parking lots. I looked back at that heron again a few minutes later and the tail was gone. Must have been part of a fish. Don’t think anyway it could have got the whole fish that size down…
