From yesterday’s light rain day through this mysterious bunch of photos, all great pix. I say mysterious on these because the fog gives many an entirely different feel. The Eagles swooping around with their daily tasks, not knowing the future nor time for things to come. Or, maybe it’s just how the pictures made me feel as I had to look back and ponder what they were thinking as they were so busy. What is this winding down of 2020 yet to bring. Oh and picture #20 or so, somewhere in the middle, the female flying with a ‘steed stalk’, LOOKS LIKE IT IS FLYING OUT AWAY FROM THE HUMONGOUS CLAWED TREE MONSTER BEHIND IT. Mysterious!

      Ellen,
It was an interesting light early yesterday. The river fogged in heavily and the sun shining though it to the nest area made for a different look for sure. The female at this nest cutting down on bringing sticks lately. Not sure why she likes to pull up that weed, it was a miss-spelling on the pic. This one she never took to the nest. Stopped on a branch below the nest looked at the weed plant and dropped it. Although in the past she has delivered others plants she pulled on the fly to the nest. That tree’s roots in the background are massive and also interesting. I always appreciate the mystery as 0ne never knows for sure what the eagles will be up to…

  2. Great shots!
I hope you and yours have a fine Thanksgiving!
