Today’s Flashback Photo
When animals decide to rest, they really know how to do it! The foxes look so relaxed! And they are getting big. Pretty soon adults?
The bird diving (for a fish, I presume) is a wonderful picture. MCS
That seemed to be what the fox pups were doing this morning. No playing. It is getting hard to tell them from the adults. In fact the fox curled up shot after the pup stretched out laying down is an adult. The bird diving is a Great Egret and it spotted a fish and that was its dive to be the first one to the fish. They don’t normally dive at all.
The foxes are eating well. I wonder how they get so many fish.
That egret looks a little clumsy in a dive but it’s still a beautiful bird.
New Hampshire Gardener,
All the dead fish in the lake get drawn towards the dam where the fox are located. They have a lot of shoreline to scavenge. Something about all white birds or animals is eye catching.
Another one with Fox shares. though yours look quite adorable. I have them almost at my front and back door, two pairs of adults with two litters of kits and never see them hardly at all with the heavy woods. Great shots~
Mary Howell Cromer,
These fox you can see most days before sunrise and after sunset. They go to holes in the rocks when the sun is up most of the time. Now and then they will be out a little in the daytime. Thank You for the compliment and for stopping by…
