Keep It Up Or Not

Every so often the last couple years I question if I should continue doing this blog. I am in that place again. Usually this occurs in spring when the choices are many as the outdoors warm and the days lengthen. My desire to write never developed as I expected it would. Primarily as when I do it turns out my mind wanders. Often to the past. I do cherish old memories but more so envision what to learn next that I have not experienced. In a way when I jot something down it turns out to be about me and who cares I think? This puts me in a negative frame of mind. A place too easy to drift too in ones thoughts.

New mirrorless cameras are out and apparently make what I have been photographing much easier to capture. Of course at a much higher price tag. My current camera a couple years old now probably has another year or so on it. So another camera decision is not imminent. Therefore, I probably will muck about and soon will observe something that will catch my eye and tell me I need to share that with those that don’t have the opportunity to see it. The reason I have continued to do this.

So bare with me if my posts are a little hit and miss for a while. Thank You for stopping by when you have time…

That’s a choice only you can make. I know I’d miss your blog but you can’t base your decision on that. I wrestle with the same things. Ten years is a long time!
By the way, speaking of cameras, I don’t see the consistent quality of your photos on any other blog I read. In my opinion you don’t need a new camera!

      New Hampshire Gardener,
It is a long time but have learned a ton in doing it. I was thinking mostly on when this camera wears out as they are not making them anymore. Thank You very much for the compliment…

Thank you for continuing when you feel like it. I am one of those who would never have a opportunity to see the what catches your eye, but you know that. I always enjoy the photos and your writing, but I too don’t know how you do it day after day. What ever you decide, daily or yearly. . . it IS your choice. Just know you have been a joy to follow for so many seasons. And for those, I am thankful.

      Ellen,
Will continue as much as I can daily. Except when opportunities come up to spend time with family. Or I just don’t feel like it, which happens on occasion. I do know that I am blessed to get to see what I do and like the fact that others as yourself can’t get out to see it. Thank You for the comments, compliments and a welcome guest…
