We finally got a break in the rain today. I ran out and caught a swap out sitting on eggs at one nest. Rain to come back tonight and last another couple days…
At least you got some great shots of the eagles.
Yesterday was a sunny 70 degree summer like day and today it’s snowing, so we don’t know if we’re coming or going.
New Hampshire Gardener,
Thank You. Huge weather swings like that are tough on all things…
Amazing how the eagle calls and the other knows to come for its turn. I was watching the Olympics last night, the women, who at a certain angle looked almost like the eagles when they fly. It was beautiful as are your photos of the eagles.
I like the eagle looking back; seems to be checking that the other is taking over for “sitting” duty. MCS
The eagles are amazing to watch and we can only guess at what they are telling each other vocally. It does seem like they show attitude if one appears late in returning, but that is only a guess. Thank You, many of the olmypic skiers and snowboarders certainly do fly for a short time….
