    That mouse must have been a good meal for the kestrel. It’s almost as big!
    Interesting how small the eagles look in these shots. I know it’s a trick of perspective but it reminded me of the first eagle I saw on the ice by an ice fisherman’s hole. At about three feet tall it was easily the biggest bird I’ve seen.

      I bet it was a good meal for the kestrel. It can be deceiving size wise when I crop in to show the bird close up and only a small portion of the nest. They are small compared to the pelicans but that is about all around here. Thank You…
