Early Morning Rounds

Rain overnight and wet ground put the work plans around the farm on hold in the morning. So I made a round visiting two eagles nest and one river stop. Shot a few pics of birds on the farm before it dried up enough I could get back to work…

Wow, those eaglets are getting huge. Do you have 2 nests here or 3?

    • Jim says:

      Kathy Dennis,
Yes, they are at a stage where they appear larger than the male that brought the fish in. Two nests in this post. Have watched six at one time this winter within a half hour drive. I enjoyed your wondering on bird id’s in your post. I have such bad recall memory that I think I see a new bird look it up and I have a lot of photos of them in years past. That’s ok because I get excited anyhow thinking I am seeing a new one when I am out…

  2. It doesn’t look like those eaglets are going to be in the nest much longer.
Great shots of all the birds!

    • Jim says:

      New Hampshire Gardener,
No it doesn’t but probably still a week tow three weeks before they all leave the nest. Thank You…
