Drizzling Rain Winter Day

It was a day when it rained a little to heavy to stay out long. A steady drizzle. Did not want to risk keeping my camera equipment out in it. The best find was a turkey practicing strutting. Another sign of spring approaching. The turkey’s head colors vivid when displaying then darken up so quickly when it stopped. Caught a swap out at the eagles nest but in the mid-day light the photo quality poor, don’t know what settings I could have used to get something better. The incoming eagle with a tiny piece of bark in its beak.

It’s Sunday may your day be a pleasant one…

  1. It reached 50 degrees here today and it really felt like spring. Even the witch hazel was blooming.
I see a lot of turkeys but they’re almost all hens. I’d like to see some Toms like these!

      New Hampshire Gardener,
That is great to hear. It was neat to see the toms begin to strut. Amazing how blue the head gets.
