  1. That’s a great shot of the bluebirds! Beautiful shot of the heron too. I still haven’t seen one here yet this spring.

      New Hampshire Gardener,
Thank You. Have a pair in bird house in front yard. Not sure yet if they are using another blue bird house we put out over in the field. We are lucky and have the heron year round…

Blue bird boxes, I wish we still had a couple. Years ago there were 2 in the next yard over, so we watched blue birds every year. New neighbors, took down the boxes years ago. Not sure why. But we still have a plethora of kinds come every year. So no complaints. I agree with N.H.G., the shot of the heron is beautiful. I’m a detail watcher as you know, the ‘curly’ ‘wavy’ wing feathers are fascinating. From the turkey to the killdeer, great pix.

          Ellen Bunnell,
I have to remember to clean the bird houses out each year. Should schedule a date in the fall to do it. Should build some more, doesn’t take long. Like so many things hard getting started. Thank You, always enjoy the heron. The feathers on top of the wings on the heron do really get waving sometimes…
