Before The Rain Wednesday

The rain held off until afternoon. So I was able to take pics for a few hours. Then mow for another few hours. All in all a good day. Most interesting things taking pics was the male eagle spotting a squashed frog on the road and hovering and dropping down to check it out. A truck came along about that time so did not see if the eagle would eat the frog or take it to its young. Several migrators arriving on the farm later on. Rose-Breasted Grosbeaks, Indigo Buntings and one Oriole that I could not get an open picture of. Raining now and supposed to rain until late afternoon. So post again probably Friday or Saturday…

You got some great shots of the small birds!
I was surprised to see the rose. We won’t see them here probably for another month.

      New Hampshire Gardener,
Thank You, good to see the migrators returning. Double knockout rose bush by our back porch…
