Beautiful Slow Day

Had a beautiful fall day with little activity. When the fog lifted early the eagles headed out in opposite directions doing no work on the nest. At Duncan Lake where the eagles sometimes come in and drink and bath only one juvenile came in and spooked out immediately. Probably by a fellow in a blind trying to get closer. Still it was a lovely day to be outdoors. The water levels are up over most of the stumps at this spot. My guess  is this has a bearing on the eagles not landing now. What stumps that are above water are turtle covered. The water possibly a little deep for the shallow bathing they so seem to enjoy. Still it was a pleasure to be outdoors taking in the welcome sunshine after all the rain we have had…

  1. Glad you saw some sunshine.
Nice shots of that lizard. We don’t have anything like it here.
