  1. I’ve never heard of that bug. If the spots are its eyes they’re huge.

      New Hampshire Gardener,
      They make a loud click as the head snaps from down to up or vice-versa. It is so if they are on their backs they can flip back over. The eyes are small that is just what looks like large eyes on the head. I have never seen one before like this usually just brown or blackish. Thank You…

    Fascinating insect. That’s one I will have to ask my Granddaughter about. I think it may finally be something she has never heard of in her life. Now a teenager, but still inquisitive. All of the pix are very nice.
