Ya’ Never Know What You Might See

The eagles were a bit more active at the river this morning.  Had a few nice close fly bys. All the fish catching and chasing was too far away for photographing. On the way home in the morning I saw this whitetail buck at Kentucky Dam Village State Resort Park. The buck really surprised me by walking across a walkway that is on a jetty, even walking across the wired covered bridge. Stopping and overlooking the lake and cove just like many of the walkers I see in the mornings…

The Buck seems to stop and pose for you along the way. The chain of pix is both beautiful and fun. I’m curious as to the does he go that path regularly, or perhaps this was his first time? I guess, one would never know.

      Ellen Bunnell,
The walkway is used by walkers every morning. Usually fisherman put in at the cove and pass under the walking bridge the deer walked through. At the end were the deer was headed is the lodge that has people coming and going. I would bet that this was the first deer to take that path. The deer did see me but I stayed in place and allowed it to find its way…

  2. I wonder if that buck knows he’s playing with fire. He’d make a nice trophy for some hunter. You got some great shots of his odd behavior!
