Warm Up Slow Down

The temperatures warmed up yesterday. It seemed like the wildlife activity slowed down with the warm up. Did not see much action. I doubt the duck hunter I saw in the back of Sledd Creek saw much action either. In the calm water the decoys looked like decoys, don’t think it would fool many ducks to come in. First time I have seen a duck hunter set up in a stake bed. The stake bed driven to attract fish in the spring and summer when the water level is up. They have the lake drawn way down. Not much flow at the dam either. I think that is a contributor to not much bird activity below the dams….
