The End Of Summer Approaches

The end of summer approaches. This morning before daylight a flock of ducks that looked like migrators flew in from the north. I think they were gadwalls. Should know by the silhouette but am not positive. The Osprey are starting to depart. Will miss them although I spent most of the summer watching them each morning. Will be taking a vacation trip towards the end of the week. May miss posting some starting Friday. Will post on the road if I get a chance to photograph and have internet access….

  1. I don’t want to even think about winter but there are signs all around me that it’s coming.
Nice shots of the falcon and the landing heron, and that’s a beautiful portrait of the flower!
