  1. Amazing what a little sunshine can do in nature, and in a photo.
    I hope that fishing jig didn’t get stuck in the heron’s beak. That would be the end of that bird.
    Great shot of the fox! That one looks like an adult.

      Yes, the sunshine helps, there were a lot of clouds passing as well this morning. Had a lot of chances, missed some and got some. Yes, I moved towards the heron to scare it away and took the old jig and threw it in the trash. I thought it was grabbing a fish to start with. Thank You, that was a pup I think as it was not very spooky. Hard to tell by the size now. Still see one or two each morning when I go to watch the sunrise. Have not seen more than two together in some time.
