  1. I can’t get over how many fish must be in that river. It’s really amazing that it can feed so many birds and humans!

    Jim, These birds must be quite hungry after the cold weather to be so “frenzy-ed” for food. Don’t know who to feel worse for: the birds who are hungry or the fish who get eaten. MCS

      Yes, instead of gathered up on the bank hunkered against the cold they were feeding heavily. They were mostly getting threadfin shad which naturally die off if the water temperatures get to cold….
