Glad to pass on that my “Little Woman’s” knee replacement surgery went well. She came home the next day. Now the work of physical therapy to regain range of motion. I got out a few times the last two days early. The eagles at the nests I know of are all setting eggs now. Caught the eagle in the photo below right after coming off the eggs over night. First time I have seen one with frost covered back.
Will still need to stay around the house most of the time for a while. Will try to post again Tuesday. Have a great weekend…

Wow, frost on wings, what a thought and what a picture. And wow, your wife came home the next day. I’m a wimp, I guess. Stayed in for therapy at the hospital’s nursing care unit. Glad she is courageous, and has you for a nurse 24/7. I hope she has a full recovery in record time.
Ellen Bunnell,
Lots of surprises, coming home the next day. Frost on the eagles back I had not seen. I think when the swelling goes down it will be much easier for her. The incision looks great, but the whole knee area still swelled. Keeping it iced as much as possible. Thank You…
Jim, great all went well and you are back out shooting———–Larry
Larry Patterson,
Thank You. Shooting time will be limited for some time I think…
Glad to hear your wife is doing well. Prayers continue for her as I know such surgery is a difficult one. Hope she continues to do well in recovery. MCS
Mary S,
Thank You, will let her know. Your thoughts and prayers are appreciated…
Great shots of the hawk and the eagles!
I’m glad the operation went well. I’m sure it’ll be a while before the little woman can join you on your photo shoots.
New Hampshire Gardener,
Thank You. We look forward to when she can go with me as in the past….
