One Day Warm Up

The temps got up in the thirties today with no wind. A few more pelicans arrived below the dams. Plentiful rafts of ducks above Kentucky Dam. Too far to photograph. A few eagles showing up below Kentucky Dam. Hope the eagle action picks up as it is getting prime time for that most years. A nice warm up break before the frigid temps come back. Will be hard to stand on the side of the river for the next few days. Forecast to be one degree Monday night. Brrr…..

*Note: Thank You to visitor Mary S, letting me know the comments still were not working. It should be fixed now. Thank You for your patience…

  1. I wanted to let you know about the comments but I couldn’t seem to find your email address. No matter though, I still enjoyed all the great photos!
Stay warm. I woke up to 16 below this morning.

      New Hampshire Gardener,
I should make the email available somewhere. It is Jimatgoatsass.com. Thank You enjoyed the icy walk on the rail trail. Worked outdoors in temperatures like that in the service in Alaska. Don’t wish to see them again. Be careful when out and about…

Yes, I missed commenting too. I’m glad it’s back. Number one for the year, definitely the minks. The cutest, clearest, most fun pix of all. Though I have to admit, I would never have been able to choose, whatever you posted would have been great. Happy New Year. It’s a brrrrr. . for the first week of the new year over here too.

      Ellen Bunnell,
Thanks to my wife and Mary S for clueing me in on the comments not working. Gee Whiz I don’t pay enough attention some times. Thank You for your patience. The mink are fascinating creatures. Should probably spend more time pursuing them, but heck they don’t fly. I do get hung up on shooting flying stuff. In all honesty I think about as my favorites the shots I have not made yet. Every photo I take I see room for improvement or something I should have maybe done different. We all have to grin and bear the weather, not much else we can do about it. Have yourself a Happy New Year, thanks again for stopping by and dropping me a note.
