It got hot yesterday the thermometer rising in to the eighties. A breeze kept it pleasant to be outdoors. After a nice morning out we waited until evening before sitting in the backyard. My ” Little Woman” had placed cut up oranges out for the orioles. We both read books and would stop now and then to watch the antics of the birds…

    It was 89 here today. Much too hot for May!

      Yes, we are lucky to be catching so many migrators. I don’t usually put out bird food at this time of year. Had leftover sunflower seeds and that really brought the birds in. Same here way to hot for this early…
