Foggy, Cloudy Saturday With A Few Glimpses Of Sunshine

It was a mixed day of fog early, then the fog so thick I went home. One great find in the fog was the eagle pair perched together at the Sheriff’s Ranch Nesting area. A good sign that maybe they will use the nest again this year. First time I have seen the pair there together in a couple months.

After breakfast the skies began to clear and I went back to the river where I spent the rest of the day. The glimpse of sun was short lived only lasting from leaving the house until shortly after arriving at the river. Hard to believe it is November when I was able to be in a t-shirt. The river was a busy place with a lot of towboat activity, fisherman, and construction work. The eagle activity was spotty but a great way to spend a day, waiting and watching for eagles to catch fish….

  1. I like the misty shots of the fall colors!
It’s been warm here too but they say we’ll have quite a cool down by week’s end.
It looks like that young eagle on the tower was seeing some wind.
That’s a great shot of the eagle in front of the colorful trees!

      New Hampshire Gardener,
Supposed to cool down here as well. Rain storms tonight. That young eagle’s feathers seem softer and whiter than the breast of most juveniles. It is odd that it likes to perch in the towers were most eagles prefer trees. Thank You for the compliments…
