    Was out of town for a family member’s memorial and had no computer access. Loved the first pic of the sunrise. Perfect way to start my day today. Scrolling through your last few posting days was a joy too. Above, the blur pictures caught many fascinating angles and stopped shots all in one. The Virginia Rail find posting day, earlier, captured a very fascinating bird. Had to study each pic. Wondering what it was seeking in the swampy looking grasses. Fishing for tiny creatures? Just wondering.

      Hope the memorial was expected, seems to make it easier. Hard to catch the panning blurs I enjoy, but get lucky now and then shooting at 1/30th of a second. I could not tell what the rail was hunting. Each time it reached the head was hidden. When it brought its head back out I saw nothing. Must have been tiny whatever it was. They are a beautiful bird…
