A Pleasant Sunday In Western Kentucky

Another fantastic weather day Sunday. The days getting longer a pleasure as well. Spent the day outdoors doing a little work around the farm. Keeping the camera handy catching a few migrators on my breaks. Replaced a bumper cover on our van I tore up backing in to a post last year. One of those finally got round to it.

Ain’t as young as I once was. My son in that period of time got married. Sold a house, bought a house, moved out of a house and in to a house. Placed his beautiful new wife in the family way. All while still working, doing his job and assisting filling in for a superior who is out ill. Those are only the things I know bout’. Yep, going to be a granddaddy again come around the first of July.

So nice to sit in the sun next to the love of my life on a warm spring day and appreciate…

That bird that is blue but not a Blue Bird seems to be modeling for you. It’s a startlingly lovely bird. It finally occurred to me that the birds that are brown have wonderful camouflage, a big DUH! on my part.
Hope all will be well in every regard with the new grandchild coming. MCS

      Mary S,
That is an Indigo Bunting. They are an eye catcher. Thank You for the good thoughts for the new grand son by the way coming in a couple months…

  2. Beautiful shots of all the birds. That indigo bunting is a beauty!
I hope you wife’s new knee is doing well. It sure sounds like your son has been busy!

      New Hampshire Gardener,
Thank You. My wife is doing great. Her last therapy appointment was today. My son has accomplished a lot in a short period of time with a heavier than normal load at work. His attitude staying positive with a new wife and child on the way a great driving force. We all I think could accomplish more if we tryed. Well at least I know I could…
