A Helluva’ Morning

It was a helluva’ morning. As always I am thankful for all the wonder I see outdoors each day. Blessed to live where I live. I may not say it enough but I am grateful for each day…

Wow!! The falcon pictures are incredible! I guess that was a pigeon, maybe?
Of course, it would be there again when I wasn’t. Haha. Just my luck.
I’m always amazed at how large some of the fish are that the osprey catches. It doesn’t even seem possible that a bird that size (even with huge wings) could fly with such a large fish.
    Beautiful sunrises!

      Teresa,
It was a smaller bird the falcon caught. Not sure what species. It is amazing how large a fish the Osprey can carry. Sometimes they try and give up if it is too large. It was a colorful dawn this morning. The best color so many times is a half hour before sunrise like today…

  2. The sky sure was beautiful, and so were the birds and foxes.
    Nice shot of the heron!

Peregrine pix star in this batch. The details could be used for identification purposes. And the eating on the fly, tells a story/fact I would never have imagined. Dexterity, and doing a dozen things at once. Enjoyed all the pix of course.

      Ellen Bunnell,
The peregrines were working as a team I got lucky and switched from the one diving to the one that caught the bird. Glad you enjoyed my wonderful morning…
