At the end of the day yesterday I lost energy and felt a little blue. The “Little Woman” picked up on it immediately when she arrived home. She took me out to dinner and sharing our day with simple conversation washed the blues away.
What is difficult to comprehend is why the blues come over a person. It had been a wonderful day with a bluebird sky. In fact bluebirds flitted in the treetops by the gate where I stop each morning. I was able to capture them flitting and flying. With the bluebird sky as a background it was simple to create a transparent gif of the bluebirds in the treetops. I will use that bluebird image with an interesting cloud background in a fantasy image one day. Here is one shot of the bluebirds in the treetop.
This morning I thought why not create an animation with music to improve my mood when the blues occur. Why not share it with other folks. First I thought of Don’t worry be happy for the music. I created it and it was blocked due to the music being copyrighted so I deleted it. I redid it with part of another song I enjoy. The sweet voice and easy listening tone of Don Williams. Who I would be delighted to advertise for, for free.
I loved the slide show, the song and that time spent with me cheered you up.
Love you, the little woman
Thank You Baby!
The frolicking little goats were so cute. Also the pup slides would make anyone laugh. A nice “feel good” slide show. — barbara
Great song and pictures-thank you. Maybe an occasional bout of the blues isn’t such a bad thing. When they happen to me my thoughts tend to turn inward, and it’s good to take an honest look in the mirror every now and again. As Socrates said, “an unexamined life isn’t worth living.”
New Hampshire Gardner,
An unexamined life isn’t worth living. I never hear that before but believe it to be true. Thanks for sharing.
You’re welcome. Socrates was a very wise man.
Feel good slide show was what I was trying to portray. Thanks Barbara
Thank you for stopping by my blog.
Your goats made me smile. Did you know there is a place (close to where I live, in fact) where goats live on the roof of a market? When I was little I was enthralled by them. *How did they get up there?* I wondered. (I am still not sure to be honest.) I took my kids to see them when they were small and they were just as taken with them as I was. One day I will take my grandchildren. http://www.oldcountrymarket.com/
Thanks for the slideshow. How can goats not bring out at least a little smile?
Oh no Birdie! Why would you suggest that. Now the “Little Woman” will be wanting me to teach the goats to climb to the roof of our house! Just kidding if a goat can climb it they will. I will check out the website, sounds like a fun place for adults as well as kids. Thanks for stopping by.
Grampy you have a way with pictures and words we just love “THANK YOU” J&B
Jeannie,
Your Welcome. Not sure I could put things in words with quite the character as your dad did but will keep trying. It was good to see you the other day.
